Get Market Ready

Advice For Vendors

  • Hire a solicitor.  To speed up the process it is important to arrange a solicitor and arrange for the deeds of the property through the bank if the property is mortgaged. This can speed things up by up to 4 weeks.
  • BER & Building Certs.  Arrange a BER rating for the property as you cant legal sell it without one and gather any building compliant certificates for extension and attic conversions.
  • Sign with an estate agent.  Sign the letter of engagement provided by the agent along with photographic Id and provide proof of address, for example a utility bill bank statement.
  • Your property.  Tidy gardens, front and back, do small repairs like painting and declutter property.
